Established in 2017 led by the College of Life Sciences and Bioengineering as the first bio joint training center in Korea to foster and lead the bio industry, a major industry of Incheon. By actively utilizing the university's excellent facilities, equipment, and human infrastructure, it provides professional job training in core bio-health sectors—including biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, and medical devices—based on regional demand. It contributes to improving technological capabilities and competitiveness of local SMEs while helping resolve youth unemployment through job placement linkage.

Established in June 2021 to strengthen education, research, and industry-university cooperation in the field of eco-friendly biodegradable and bio-plastics (White Bio). Selected as the Center for Plastic Substitute Material Infrastructure Building by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), it conducts full life-cycle research on bio-plastics, industry support (completion of key analysis and demonstration equipment setup), global networking (hosting the Global Eco-friendly Plastics Conference), development of standards and certifications, and demonstration evaluations. Additionally, designated as the White Bio Professional Research Personnel Training Group by MOTIE, it is leading the cultivation of master's and doctoral-level specialists in the bio-plastics field for the first time in Korea.

In June 2022, following an agreement among the Ministry of Environment, Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon National University, Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, Seo-gu of Incheon Metropolitan City, and Incheon Urban Development Corporation, Incheon Innopolis was designated as an Innopolis equipped with the nation's largest environmental R&BD infrastructure. Incheon National University serves as the core technical institution, while the Green Convergence Cluster for Startup Ventures and the General Environmental Research Complex—created through Ministry of Environment policy projects—serve as supporting spaces.

Focusing on 'ICT Convergence Environmental Pollution Treatment and Management,' Incheon Innopolis aims to achieve innovative developments in environmental convergence technologies and products through the fostering of three detailed specialized areas: environmental pollution measurement and management, waste resource recovery and substitute material development, and AI-based environmental management.

It aims to establish a foundation for cultivating high-level talent in the semiconductor field, effectively supporting the training of core personnel tied to corporate demands, and expanding related jobs. By continuously utilizing the educational infrastructure and high-quality content built through its projects, the institute supports talent development and industrial advancement in the semiconductor sector, ultimately contributing to regional and national innovation and competitiveness.

Strengthens university innovation capabilities and cultivates convergent specialists in logistics by supporting convergent technology development that links DATA, NETWORK, and AI (D.N.A.)—core technologies of future industries—with new land, infrastructure, and transport business initiatives.

Established in 2023 with the goal of cultivating advanced AI specialists aligned with industry demands, based on the AI+X Interdisciplinary Major jointly operated by five departments: Industrial and Management Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence.

As a radio wave and satellite ITRC, the 'NS Satellite RTDC Technology Research Center' is a national research center supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Based on radio frequency and satellite communication technologies, it secures core technologies for ultra-high-speed mobile and satellite communications. It trains graduate students as specialized R&D experts in areas such as metamaterial antennas for satellite communications and 6G, RIS (Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface) hardware technologies, inter-satellite laser communication (ISL) / free-space optical (FSO) communication systems, AI applications for optimizing ground-to-non-ground network physical layer access, and satellite cloud computing/security technologies.

Established in 2023, the Regional Industry Intelligence Innovation Research Center contributes to building an effective industry-university cooperation ecosystem by establishing an intelligent innovation research/education base tailored to regional key industries (automobiles and semiconductors). It also contributes to building degree programs and producing professional talent to train core technical personnel in future automotive fields (autonomous driving and vehicle software).
