Cho Jae-in, professor of literature and informatics at Incheon National University's School of Social Sciences

Professor Cho Jae-in of the Department of Literature and Information at Incheon National University's School of Social Sciences won the Outstanding Paper Award in the Journal of the Information Management Society in August 2024. In February, he was also selected as the winner of the 2023 Outstanding Article Award by IJKCDT (International Journal of Knowledge Content Development), an international academic journal. 

The Journal of the Information Management Association was founded in 1984 by the Korean Information Management Association to contribute to academic research and practice in the fields of information science and information management. In addition, IJKCDT, run by KCDT (Kunchuk University Knowledge Content Research Institute), is an international academic journal in which multinational researchers participate, focusing on the library and knowledge content industry. 

Professor Cho said that two papers published in 2023 in both academic journals ("Analyzing the weight and method of Open Access (OA) papers, cross-country differences on citation induction effects," and "Analysis of DOAJ-Registered Open Access Journals in Asian Counties") were all selected as excellent papers.
