Incheon National University (President Jong-Tae Park) announced that it held the inauguration ceremony for the 2025 Student Press Corps on April 28 at the multipurpose hall on the first floor of the Faculty Club at the Songdo Campus.

The Student Press Corps is composed of 60 students from the University Newspaper, English Newspaper, Educational Broadcasting Station, and Yearbook Editorial Committee. They will play a key role in delivering news related to the university through various media platforms including print, broadcast, and online journalism.

Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Woosik Yoo expressed his hopes, stating, “I hope you will become a vital link that closely observes the university’s news, vividly documents student life, captures the changes of the times and social currents, and shares the thoughts and stories of our diverse community.”

Director of Office of Student and Welfare and Employment Yongho Park also encouraged the students, saying, “As the media landscape continues to evolve, I urge you to contribute to shaping campus discourse and fostering growth through passionate and dedicated reporting, broadcasting, and content creation.”

The ceremony was attended by 60 student press corps members, along with Professors Unhyung Lee (advisor for the University Newspaper and Yearbook Editorial Committee), Shinhwa Jeon (advisor for the English Newspaper), and Byungjoon Jeon (advisor for the Educational Broadcasting Station), all of whom came together to support the bold new start of Incheon National University’s student media organizations.
